A look at Sportscaster cards that were issued from 1977-1980. The blog will look at the cards, the people mentioned, variations in the set and sports that are not commonplace. Track stars will probably be a primary focus.
Hey. I have tried to comment on the thread on collector universe but it wont let me sign up. I am the owner of the trio grande card that you speak of in one of the threads that PSA labeled as Japan. I can confirm that it is an error. The card was printed in Italy but says japan on the label. I purchased it as the grade is good even as an italy version. Would love to discuss with you sportcaster cards as I am trying to collect 2 specific cards in different versions

I just ran across your blog today while looking for info on the Aaron promo. Lots of great info and I'd be happy to contribute whatever I can from the golf subsets of all countries (or a couple of other specific athletes I also collect)!
